7 ITO Hiromi books now available

One of the most prominent poet and writer of Japan, Ms. ITO Hiromi has graced the ever growing George Town Literary Festival (GTLF) 2019 in Penang from 21 to 24 November invited by The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur. A reading session and discussion was succesfully held during GTLF. On 1 December, with great support from Kinokuniya Books, “Public Talk: Life of ITO Hiromi – Family and Distance” was organised. During this event, she shared about her life experiences and views on life with wit and humour. She also did a “life consultation” session and gave honest yet empathetic responses to the various queries thrown by the audience.
Now, the 7 books of Ms. ITO Hiromi are now available at the Library of The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur – whose titles are “Wild Grass on the Riverbank”, ”Killing Kanako”, “Poems of HIROMI ITO, TOSHIKO HIRATA & TAKAKO ARAI”, and the other books in Japanese. Everyone is welcomed to visit our library, and we hope you will be able to read and enjoy the charm of her poetry and literary.
