~ A Japanese Lifestyle Product ~

The Jekyll & Hyde Project is a lifestyle store stocking uniquely designed products mainly from Japan and the USA together with other varied in-house items the likes of household ware, stationary, bags and fashion items like t-shirts and watches. +d Japan (plus-d) accounts for 60% of total merchandise. Every item is uniquely designed by an individual product designer in Japan and is complimented with its own unique design history. They are also all extremely functional, practical and mostly made in Japan! The store also carries other Japanese brands such as; Hacoa, The Mint House, Sceltevie and Chikuno Cube and will be adding much more this year. Products from USA include unique kitchen and glass ware by Fred and music CD’s from UK’s Bronswood Recording. Our bestsellers are the +d Caomaru stress balls by Makiko Yoshida – play-doh-like molded faces that hilariously helps relieve tension by squeezing them and changing their expressions.

The Flagship Store @ Bangsar Shopping Centre – established in April 2011 its décor is infl uenced by the store’s logo the fox and hare, which represent split or multiple personalities as the products represent varied shapes and forms, colours and functions, and portray the Jekyll & Hyde concept. By chance the lot up for rent at the BSC had a lot of glass with a skylight. Viewed from above, through the skylight, the layered shelves look like a fox’s or rabbit’s burrow below the surface – the skylight glass. Hence the “Life in the Burrow” printed on all paper bags and catalogs.
