Tucked away in the back alley of a busy shopping district is a diner that opens after midnight and whose menu only comprises pork miso soup and sake. However, the mysterious proprietor of this establishment—known only by the title, “master”—can whip up just about anything at the specific request of his quirky patrons. As the nights pass, these regulars overcome a variety of problems and share gossip while enjoying the master’s meals.

Based on the award-winning manga and television series of the same name, Joji Matsuoka’s culinary drama promises to warm the heart and excite the taste buds with its charming vignettes of life in Japan.
